My Experience:

Having lived in the area for over 10 years it was a treat to see the final product on the peninsula.  Once home to Marineland, the views have always been magnificent and calming.  I was not disappointed the Terranea Oceanfront Resort is spectacular and well thought out.

Offering guest's ocean views from 95% of the resort is quite unusual, no ocean peeks, views.   Look at the travel gallery and see for yourself the view from my balcony.  The resort truly caters to the entire family, business traveler, honeymooners and anyone wanting to get away from it all, with traveling hundreds of miles. The property is located on 102 acres, with only 25% of it developed.  That means wonderful cliffside hiking trails to enjoy.

I liked how the conference/business area is all based on one side, while the guest rooms are on the other.  The Spa is gorgeous, and a must.  Offering four different types of dining, one can't miss.  There is a water slide and activities for the kids, next time I'll try the water slide;-)

Also on my list for next time is the golf course, a challenging nine hole course with mega  ocean views awaits you.  It is a walking course, and just enough so you have time to enjoy the pools or resort beach nearby.  There is a lot to do in the area if you want, but do a little research first and see what interests you.  After talking with several guests, they didn't want to leave the property once there, too relaxing and gorgeous.

Terranea is also pet friendly, so no excuses...This resort is on a magnificent stretch of coastline, offers something for everyone including villas, casita's and bungalows, an atmosphere that can't be beat.......Would I visit Terranea again...how about next week!
