My Experience:
What can I say! This was my second trip to Lake Tahoe in the last six months, and my first staying at
Harrah's, I loved it. How can you not enjoy a winter wonderland with a magnificent lake before you.
Harrah's Lake Tahoe, is centrally located, meaning you can park
the car and walk. Edgewood Golf Course is across the street. Heavenly Village along with the Gondola, ski slopes, shops
and restaurants is down the street and gaming? Well, that's an elevator ride away.
The rooms
at Harrah's are spacious and comfortable with a sofa, table, large cushioned chair, computer desk, mini bar, huge picture
windows and two bathrooms. I used both, just for the fun of it, but made sure I tipped my housekeeper well. Yes, a television
comes standard along with the sound proof walls.
I did have room service once, but enjoyed the rooftop Summit
Steakhouse, the aromas grab you as you walk in, ventured through the multi-selectional buffet, and enjoyed breakfast at the
American River Cafe with real water flowing in a river through the restaurant.
For
me Lake Tahoe, is true mountain country with a touch of elegance. There is something that's just a little different
when skiing or taking a Borges Family Sleigh Ride, or dog sled ride. It was fun wearing my faux fur lined boots and
watching the skiers while I sipped hot chocolate sitting outside in the sunshine.
My next trip
to Lake Tahoe will be in the springs, and then summer. I want to experience all seasons in Lake Tahoe. Take Highway
395, off of the 15, relaxing, gorgeous and fun driving through all of the smaller towns. Lake Tahoe is another TWFranςoise
adventure I urge you to enjoy.........See you there!
