My Experience:

I'm going to make this real easy for you, GO!  Don't wait for summer to end, it's lovely in Big Bear Lake and you'll have a ball.  I recommend the following:

Visitors information: Big Bear Lake Visitor Center, www.bigbear.com

The perfect lodging: Windy Point Inn lake-front bed & breakfast. On the north shore, the Inn is quiet, relaxing, upscale, right on the lake, and you'll never want to leave.

Can't miss adventure: Flying Bear Zip Lines, if I can do it, you can do it!!!  Great fun!!  www.flyingbearziplines.com

On the lake adventures: Captain John's Fawn Harbor & Marina (he's a real Captain too!) www.FawnHarbor.com

Hungry: Madlon's Restaurant for fine dining.  Owners Rob & Chelsie are delightful, and the food is so delicious you'll be back the next day for more. Try the lavender creme brulee', divine.  www.madlonsrestaurant.com

If you do all of the above, your trip will be as wonderful and mine. However, this isn't my last trip to Big Bear Lake, I'm going fishing next time...
