My Experience:

Close your eyes and imagine beautiful trees surrounding you,  a creek bubbling nearby, the fireplace blazing in your bungalow and no signs or sounds of cars, construction or busy life.  Open your eyes at the Sycamore Springs and this is what you will receive and more.

Located only two miles for the hidden ocean retreat of Avila Beach, Sycamore Springs is a wonderful resort to recharge, relax, unwind and be as healthy as you wish.  From the Resort I ventured to Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo and Atascardero, all within a 30 minute drive.  However, I enjoyed the resort so much I had to pull myself away.

I took a bike ride to Avila Beach on the Bobby Jones trail, hiked on the property to the Avila cliffs, took a swim in the large pool and then enjoyed my own private outdoor jacuzzi included with my bungalow in the West Meadows.  Every type of accommodation at the Resort includes a private jacuzzi, plus there are the famous hot mineral tubs for guests to enjoy.

The ambiance is fantastic and so is the food and spa.  GIRLS this is the perfect girlfriend getaway location, the accommodations are perfect and you won't want to leave..You'll probably need to rest after all of the fun you've had..

On my next trip to Hearst Castle or up North the Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort is where I'll be staying and I think you should also!!
