My Experience:

The Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa are famous, and for good reason.  Located in one of the most beautiful areas outside of Scottsdale, the Resort embodies a magic of its own.

Friendly and cute animals are everywhere, even the wild boar that stood near my patio screen door watching me...This is a resort that offers all of the amenities, but something more, an easy method for relaxing and getting fit.  Hiking trails are everywhere, two championship golf courses, four pools, six restaurants and this doesn't even include the Golden Door Spa.

I have never been to a resort where your car is no where to be found, golf carts or walking is the mode of transportation, and a mini flashlight is given to all guests for the night time. The dark paths can be a little tricky to navigate at night so the flashlights are perfect.

When I returned home, everyone commented on how relaxed and rejuvenated I looked.  The Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa is situated on 1,300 acres and blends with the surrounding desert and the 12-million-year-old granite boulder formations that dot the landscape.
