My Experience:

Close to two hours away, tucked in Shaw Valley and near the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve is luxury at its best.

I could go on and on about the Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond award winning The Grand Del Mar Hotel. 

Luxury abounds, however so does a comfortable, friendly atmosphere from the staff, which can often be rare in many a luxury resort setting.

The Grand Del Mar Hotel welcomes, not only adults (perfect anniversary gift), but children and pets, making everyone feel at home.

Corporate meeting spaces feel more like living rooms, all the technology is there with the helpful hand of Chris if needed.  There is an on-site Chapel,

four swimming pools, tennis court, equestrian center, amazing spa, double amazing dining at Addison, several dining experiences to choose from,

a championship Tom Fazio golf course, hiking, biking, walking and the lost art of relaxing!!!!

My stay at The Grand Del Mar Hotel was one of the few trips in the past six years where the valet parked my car, and I never left the property. 

Yes, there are many things to do with San Diego south, and Del Mar north, but frankly, this destination is to wonderful to leave...I can easily

see a wedding party honeymooning at The Grand Del Mar Hotel.

Did I mention nightclub, yes, The Grand Del Mar has one of those also...an all season resort, so what are you waiting for??!!!!!
